We get a bit nostalgic and argue some on the various questions below. Especially interesting are what we would choose in some dream scenarios.
Here are the questions we pondered:
- What are the top 5 OU games you have attended?
- What game that OU won would you like to relive today WITHOUT knowing the outcome?
- What game that OU lost would you like to relive today WITHOUT knowing the outcome?
- What OU loss that you attended would you like to have not attended?
- What game that you did not attend, would you choose to attend—knowing the outcome and WITHOUT knowing the outcome?
- What single OU game would you like to reverse the outcome of?
- Assume we won a lottery that gave us these options. Would you rather . . .
- Have home-game seats for a single season in an end zone luxury suite or Santee Lounge club seats?
- Have an OU luxury suite (20 tickets) for life or attend all away and bowl games for life having all basic travel expenses including stay at the team hotel and up to 6 tickets to the event? The away/bowl tickets are seats like we would typically buy and you cannot resell any excess that you cannot use nor sell the travel spot.
- $2,500 worth of OU official team apparel every year for 10 years or $2,500 seat credit (good for all games—home, away, and bowl) each year for 10 years.
- Choose one: Over the next 10 seasons OU is . . .
- 134-13 (147 games) .912 winning 6 conference titles but no national championships even though they get to the championship game three times with a 9-4 bowl record (4x CFP).
- 109-31 (140 games) .779 winning 3 conference titles and 2 national championships with a 6-7 bowl record (3x CFP).
- Think about the kind of season a player and by extension his team have when the player wins the Heisman Trophy. How many Heismans is a national championship worth?
