The mini ice age of 2021 rages on, but we are not deterred.
This Friday is CareerBrary. The main assignment is give your version of the “elevator pitch” (~30-second description) of any two Fribrarians’ jobs plus your own. For extra credit how can we capitalize on the crazy cold weather–we need a marketable plan.
Stories (Awkward and Otherwise):
- There are people hiding in the walls.
- Eva almost led a teenager riot.
Pilots:
- Lost Civilization – A billion years ago from current Earth time a highly advanced and very peaceful civilization . . .
Odds and Ends:
- The spam comments are starting to hit too close to home: “The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention. Marybeth Johannes Stevenson”
- VegasBrary?
Jams: We have been doing a lot of who sang it betters. Along those lines, check out these 10 classic recordings from the British Invasion that were actually covers. And check out these country music crossover covers. Finally, get lost in these top songs that were covers.
Think hot thoughts and see you Friday!
